Passport vouchers are available for a select number of individuals with demonstrated financial need who are students at our partnered institutions. Students selected for this award must first attend a passport workshop (virtual) to prepare them for completing the DS-11 passport application form.

Passport vouchers are issued to students in the form of a prepaid money order made out to the United States Department of State and must be included as part of the application packet. The voucher covers the standard $130.00 Passport Book fee.

Students must indicate their need for the voucher in their First Trip  scholarship application.

Please note: The voucher does not cover processing fees, including rush and expediting costs.

Supplemental Awards

Supplemental awards are available to recipients of the First Trip Scholarship and may be "stacked" based upon the student's eligibility for additional funding. There are no separate applications for additional funding. First Trip Scholarship recipients are automatically considered for supplemental awards. Students selected for these awards will be notified accordingly.
